Highworth

Highworth is another local historic market town very close to Swindon with history dating back over 7000 years. At one-point Highworth was larger than Swindon but after the plague and civil war, Swindon’s population grew larger and Highworth now has a population of under 10% of Swindon.  Highworth overlooks the upper Thames valley and is the highest town in Wiltshire at approximately 130m. Highworth is undergoing a rapid expansion with several new housing estates under construction. Neighbouring villages to Highworth include Shrivenham, Faringdon and Watchfield which are all very easily accessed along the A420 which brings you into Swindon, where upon you can find us just a short drive away.
