Chippenham

Chippenham is a historic town crossing the river Avon which may well date from before Roman times. Chippenham is just one junction down the M4 and with our shop being just 5 minutes from Junction 16, we have long been easily able to serve the people of Chippenham. With excellent transport links to Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and London, Chippenham has rapidly expanded in the last few years well beyond the size it was when Alfred the Great accepted the surrender of the Danes in 878. While not many buildings have survived since then, Chippenham does have a Grade 1 listed Yilde hall from 1450 that has served many uses from being a prison through to the Museum and Heritage Centre it currently is. It is not only beautiful ancient buildings in Chippenham, there is the bird’s marsh a nearly 60-acre woodland on the edge of the town for people to enjoy. Only a short drive away from Chippenham you can find the wonderful villages of Calne, Melksham, Devizes and Corsham. All of which we have delivered to these wonderful places.
